Industrial Mechanic / Millwright

Summary:
Maratek is looking for an Industrial Mechanic / Millwright to join our team. The purpose of the Millwright will be to assemble, install, repair, and troubleshoot stationary industrial equipment.

We look for candidates with the following:

 Duties & Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine assembly work procedures.
• Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial equipment and associated parts, including but not limited to pumps, tanks according to engineering drawings using hand and power tools.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and forklifts to position industrial equipment and associated parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of the industrial equipment.
• Inspect and examine industrial equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjust industrial equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Assemble machinery and equipment. Perform piping including cutting and threading of stainless steel pipes. Install pneumatic lines, actuators, and other components. Route electrical wire throughout the machine.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Applicable codes and standards
• Health and safety issues and regulations
• Proficient in software applications (IFS/timesheets/word processing/ spreadsheet)
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Provide situation-based solutions
• Customer orientation, thoroughness, personal credibility, team orientation

Job Requirements

• High school and/or college diploma in related field
• Experiences in industrial mechanic or Millwright occupations
