# How Did a Waterproofing Company Save Thousands by Recycling Their Solvents?

LymTal International Inc. has introduced the line of Iso-Flex systems that are designed to protect concrete structures. LymTal offers a broad scope of products in their [commercial waterproofing](https://www.maratek.com/coatings-paint-sealants-recycling) division including traffic and membrane coatings, as well as concrete and joint sealants.
LymTal uses [Maratek’s solvent recycling units](https://www.maratek.com/en/solvent-recycling-equipment-sp-bu) to recycle approximately 150 gallons of mineral spirits every week. This results in an average savings of $166,776 per year just by recovering their waste instead of purchasing new solvent.
LymTal also saves an additional $13,898 in disposal costs, as they no longer have to send their wastes to remote facilities to be recycled. Maratek has therefore helped LymTal save a total of $180,674 per year through solvent recycling, resulting in a payback period of less than six months.
LymTal has used their air-cooled and vacuum equipped [SSB 30 Solvent Saver unit](https://www.maratek.com/batch-solvent-recycling-units-batch) since September 2013 to assist them with cleaning their chemical reactors using a mineral spirit solvent. LymTal is able to successfully recover of 98 - 99% of every waste drum that is fed into the SSB 30.
